Alex Chu is a registered patent agent with recognition to practice in patent matters before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Alex’s practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of both domestic and foreign patent applications. They have worked in a wide range of fields, including cybersecurity, social media systems, computing hardware, machine learning systems, and more.

After a decade of experience at other law firms, Alex is back at the firm that started their patent law career. Prior to working in patent law, Alex worked at a biotech startup with expertise in microbiology techniques.

Outside of the office, Alex enjoys all sorts of outdoor activities, running adventure scenarios with their partner, and studying American Sign Language.
