Bryan Hanks is a registered patent attorney focused
on helping high-tech companies acquire and increase
the value of intellectual assets through patent
procurement and licensing. Mr. Hanks also regularly advises
clients on copyright and other intellectual property
issues.
Mr. Hanks has
prepared and prosecuted hundreds of domestic and
foreign patents, primarily in the electrical and
computer engineering fields. Mr. Hanks' experience
involves a wide range of technologies, including
semiconductor devices, digital signal processing
devices, computer software applications, network
devices, and consumer products.
Prior to joining
ALG, Mr. Hanks worked for intellectual property law
firms in Salt Lake City, UT, Sandy, UT, Austin, TX,
and Portland, OR. Before beginning his career in
law, Mr. Hanks spent time working for Hewlett
Packard's VLSI lab in Fort Collins, CO and for
Teledyne Brown Engineering at NASA's Johnson Space
Center.
Mr. Hanks was recently named one of America's Top Patent Prosecutors by Patent Research Review, a peer-reviewed publication.
